Editorial: Supporting aged or old people is one of the improtant responsibility of the society. The present infrastructures of the country which are enjoyed
by us are architechted, designed, planned and developed by these old people. Now, they may be away from the works, but, society should support these people as
the recognition of their previous works. Growing that responsilility to the young generation will convey the messages that they would be required same help and
support what is required for the old people at present.
Different initiatives are taken by NGOs, companies, individuals for supporting old peoples for their entertainment, ritual, religious and cultural
activities to continue. In Durga Puja of 2025, on 30th September, Apurba Sarkar, took a novel initiative to arrange for 10 old people to visit different
Puja Temples(Durga Temple) at North 24 Parganas.
Becoming an old grows many problems, be friendless in life, limited access to resources, communication problems with other generations like children and
grand children, no way to sell knowledge and experiences-expertises. It is known that for professionals, this words are true that 'don't say old but experienced.
Till experiences has value so many days it could be sold. If experiences could not be returned by money then can we say it is valueable experience, that is a
point of debate.
কালীপূজার পর প্রফেসর দুলাল আচার্য্যের বেলঘরিয়ার বাসভবনে একটি মনোরম মিলনসন্ধ্যার আয়োজন করা হয়। অংশগ্রহণকারীরা গান, নৃত্য ও আবৃত্তির মাধ্যমে তাঁদের প্রতিভা প্রদর্শন করেন। এখানে সেই পরিবেশনাগুলির কিছু ঝলক উপস্থাপন করা হলো।

Indira Gandhi Janma Jayanti Udjapan Committee — Social Welfare Program at Belghoria
Date: 19th November 2024
The Indira Gandhi Janma Jayanti Udjapan Committee, Belghoria (North 24 Parganas), organized a meaningful social welfare program to honor the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
During the event, a newly installed statue of Indira Gandhi was unveiled in the presence of committee members and local citizens.
As part of the celebration, blankets were distributed among the underprivileged to provide comfort during the winter season.
Additionally, freshly prepared food packets were served to several needy individuals in the locality.
This social initiative reflects the values of humanity, compassion, and service that Indira Gandhi always stood for.
A floral garland was offered to the statue during the installation ceremony, marking the formal unveiling.
After the program, committee members and volunteers gathered for a group photograph in front of the newly installed statue.

শ্রীমতি ইন্দিরা গান্ধীর জন্মবার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে একটি অর্থবহ সমাজকল্যাণমূলক কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে।
অনুষ্ঠানে কমিটির সদস্য ও স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের উপস্থিতিতে ইন্দিরা গান্ধীর একটি নতুন স্থাপিত মূর্তির
উদ্বোধন করা হয়।
উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানের অংশ হিসেবে শীতপ্রবাহে অসহায় ও দরিদ্র মানুষের সহায়তার জন্য কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে
কম্বল বিতরণ করা হয়। এছাড়াও, এলাকার বহু দরিদ্র মানুষের মধ্যে তাজা রান্না করা খাবারের প্যাকেট
বিতরণ করা হয়। এই সমাজসেবামূলক উদ্যোগ মানবতা, সহমর্মিতা এবং সেবার যে মূল্যবোধ ইন্দিরা গান্ধী
সবসময় তুলে ধরতেন, তারই প্রতিফলন।
মূর্তি স্থাপনের আনুষ্ঠানিকতার সময় একটি ফুলের মালা মূর্তিতে অর্পণ করা হয়, যা উদ্বোধনের মূল পর্বকে
চিহ্নিত করে। অনুষ্ঠানের শেষে কমিটির সদস্য এবং স্বেচ্ছাসেবীরা নবনির্মিত মূর্তির সামনে একত্রিত হয়ে
একটি দলগত ছবি তোলেন।

ভারতীয় জাতীয় কংগ্রেসের ১৪১তম প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবস উপলক্ষে বেলঘরিয়া, রথতলা-তে ৩ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে এক বিশেষ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।
অনুষ্ঠানে মহিলাদের অংশগ্রহণে দেশাত্মবোধক ও সাংস্কৃতিক সংগীত পরিবেশিত হয়, যা উপস্থিত দর্শকদের মধ্যে উৎসাহ ও দেশপ্রেমের আবহ সৃষ্টি করে।
